if you are coming from off-road tires to these ones, as I did, then I advise to you, take some time on practicing.
In my case, I ride a long (45miles) mixed trail, where I have 60% of asphalt, 30% light XC, 10% technical trail, so I decided to try road tires to minimize efforts on asphalt section which is mostly a long climb. I can't say it was mistake, as I could feel significant physical power spare on road sections, but...
Doing corners has some specifics in comparison to off-road tires. Don't try any cross road on it. I did a slight drop (50-60 cm) and I blasted both tubes. It was first time in my 12 years cycling story, when I had to carry my bike for 18 miles back to home. I had only one spare tube with me (and could never imagine, I'll need two spare tubes) and set of patches. So I could do nothing to fix tubes as holes very too big.
