Our child loves this. My only reservation is that it was a little tricky for me to assemble. The instructions seemed more about connecting it to a bicycle than for attaching handle bars and seat. But it got done in less than an hour. The most important thing was the use - and after one practice loop around our urban block we took him (and it) on a 26 mile ride along a rail trail and he pedaled and had a wonderful time. He used to dislike the back mounted seat, but this he loved.
Could it be lighter -that would be great. But the price was so reasonable that I'm not sure its a fair critique. The missing star is for the absence of assembly directions. I enthusiastically recommend this product.

My 4 years old loves the copilot, the copilot is strong and built to last, the only negative is that on the heavy side, beside of that we have about 5 months using it and we love it. The price is right and also it help my four year old boy to leave the training wheels, because he learned how to pedal and keep the balance with our help. Overall an excellent deal.

Our 5 year old daughter didn't want to share the bike trailer with her little sister. Then we found and bought this trailer bike for her. The assembly was easy enough that you don't really need the instruction to do it. After a few minutes of practice, my daughter got used to the slight wiggling when the bike was running at low speed, and started to enjoy it. Her mom says she really helps when going uphill. The only drawback is the connection knob does not have enough tolerance. I have to use a hammer every time to punch the fix pin into the hole on the knob. I would give it 5 * if I don't have this problem.
